Monday 14th May One of the biggest festivals of the year in Mallorca and definitely one of the noisiest will be coming to its finale in Sóller and Port de Sóller. The main event is the re-enactment of the battle between the people of Sóller and the invading “Moors”. Black face paint, lots of fireworks and a fairly Mallorcan disregard for health and safety make this one of the best days of the year to visit Port de Sóller. The famous beach battle takes place on the Monday afternoon/evening. Beware though as you will need a wristband to access the square so if you want to get in make sure you visit the local council beforehand to pick one up.

Something a lot calmer, every Monday evening you can join the Paseo Margarita at 19:00-20:00 starting out from Club Náutico Portixol, coaching walk and talk to uncover your essence and achieve lasting change.

On Wednesday 16th May there will be a seminar entitled, “Journey of the Soul, The Process of Death” hosted by the author of “The Interior Woman” Zulma Reyo. It will be held at the Centre of Metaphysical Studies in Palma from 8.30 to 9.30pm

On Friday 18th May there will be an evening for the marine conservation organisation, Ondine. Entitled, The Sea Soiree, it will be a night of fun AND fundraising. Drinks and entertainment start at 7pm, with dinner at 8pm followed by live music and dancing, all at Coast in Port Adriano. Contact

From May 18th to the 20th there will be the Calvia Six Points Charity Cycling Challenge. It is a ride around the whole of the island touching the four compass extremities of the island and the highest and lowest points over 3 days. You can get more information and still join up if you fancy it.

Or if bikes aren’t your thing, then why not go to a meditation retreat from Friday 18 to Sunday 20 May. The two-day residential retreat is designed to help you reconnect with your essence, deepen your observation of yourself. You will be able to practice different meditation techniques, active meditations, guided meditations, a conscious dance session, silent states. and exercises. The event will be held at Finca Son Durí, surrounded by nature where we will enjoy spaces of silence, fun in the pool and delicious vegetarian meals. INFORMATION & BOOKINGS: 653207963 /
