Pescaderia de Andi opens

A new restaurant in San Agustin has opened right in the thick of the second wave of the C word and all its restrictions! They would really appreciate some local support. La Pescaderia de Andi is the first of its kind in Mallorca; adopting the Middle Eastern tradition of serving lots of little starters and salads, mezze style, free with every main course. Local fish and seafood will be delivered daily. And they are also giving away free wine from a local winery in Binissalem. Booking via

Workshop for women

Anne Christin is holding another “Time for Me – The Workshop – 2nd edition” on 29th November.

This workshop is for women who respond to anything between “never” to “very little/seldom” to the below questions.

  1. How often do you take time for yourself?
  2. How often do you slow time?
  3. How often do you recharge your batteries?
  4. How often do you stop and listen to your body?
  5. Truly connecting to her and listening to what she has to tell you?

This interactive workshop held at Portals de Yoga in Portals allows them to do exactly that in a safe and cosy atmosphere surrounded by other amazing women. They will feel recharged, connected, nurtured and will leave glowing and with a calm and clear mind. The workshop will include movement and art, and will cost 45€ per person. Sankt Martin Children’s Fair 2020 at Puerto Portals

Traditional Central European event for children

Countries like Austria, the Netherlands, Poland or Germany celebrate the Sankt Martin every year, a festivity where children light up the streets at night with paper lanterns in search of Saint Martin, the soldier. This year, Puerto Portals will join in on November 14th. The format will be a lit family walk in search of Sankt Martin and with a mission: to help raise funds for the Frog Foundation, in the form of a guided walk.

Attendance will be limited and all current COVID-19 regulations will be complied with. Rgistration on the website from 4 November
